- Ibanez JS – Mr. Satriani’s
Ibanez JS made for Mr. Joe Satriani. The guitar was donated by Mr. Brett Coleman and the inlays masterfully crafted and donated by Mr. Aaron Mercier of Mercier Guitars.
Joe Satriani has spent four decades as the reference point for instrumental rock guitar. Surfing with the Alien made a wordless guitar record a mainstream one, the G3 tours he founded put three virtuosos on a single stage, and his Ibanez JS line has been in continuous production since the late eighties.
The studio finished an Ibanez JS for him in 2021 – a guitar donated by Brett Coleman, with inlays crafted and donated by Aaron Mercier of Mercier Guitars. The pieces the two of them make together are separate projects, and live under Collaborations.
